Can you win an NBA Title with terrible rookie head coach?

Celtics. I know it’s just one game but it was at home vs a team missing its best player. Joe Mazz is 34 years old and basically learning on the fly.. Some coaches are so talented that they can overcome the lack of experience but Joe Mazz doesn’t seem to have it. I don’t know how many inexperienced rookie head coaches as poor as Joe Mazz have went on to win an NBA championship inspite of their short comings.



Celtics losing Eme Udoke Is looking like a significant deal. Maybe the Celtics can overcome Joe Mazz and win it all but I’m having my doubts.

if MIAMI gets Herro back, I think they make it back to the Finals.

Totally agree. I was shocked to learn how young he was the other day, didn’t know he was 34. Definitely not the best choice to have a coach with zero head-coaching experience if you’re trying to win a title
