In order to offer even more safety and lessen the "luck" factor I wondered if it was possible to add an additional bet that would cover additional numbers.
But I would like to keep the main characteristics of the system. I wouldn't want it to degrade to a "bet everything" system. The new safety bet should have the lowest reward and the minimum risk. I wouldn't like it to cost one additional unit. That would increase the total bet from 8 units to 9 units, a 12,5% increase, which is unacceptable as it will lower the returns significantly. So what is the solution?
To put it more generally, say you have decided on a bet. For example you bet one unit (the minimum) on the first dozen. How can you also bet half a unit on the second dozen for added safety? The mathematical answer to this question is bet on the second dozen one unit half the times you bet on the first dozen.
The 1 unit on the first dozen half unit on the second dozen for 10 spins is equal to 1 unit on the first dozen for 10 spins and in 5 of those spins also bet 1 unit on the second dozen.
