This is about the "range 21" progression originally published by an American author.
This progression is already old,but some of you may find it interesting or even inspiring.
First we have to set the limits of the progression by defining our bankroll and goals.
For example the progression could be: 0 - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 -25 - 30 - 35 - 40 - 45 - 50 - 55 - 60 - 65 - 70 - 75 - 80 - 90 - 100 - 105 - 110
That's a LO00NG progression,don't you agree?!
Anyway,I will explain you what's the difference in these progression because it's not what it seems...
When you start betting, the first amount is at the middle,on the above string of numbers would be 50
When you lose, you bet the next amount,of course it depends if you want to use it in positive way (up as you win) or negative (up as you lose.
In either way,the progression has predetermed limits if profit goal reached or limit loss.
So if you want to use it as a negative progression, you should bet the next higher amount on the row and so on,while when you win you decrease you bet by moving to the next lower amount till you reach 0,which means you won the session.
There are many variations on this progression, for example adding or moving betting amounts, raising and decreasing the bets proportionally and not mechanically.
For example instead of increasing and decreasing always by the same unit values, you may want to bet like this:
5 - 10 - 20 - 35 - 55 - 80 - 110 and so on...
If you have noticed the progression raises by adding one MORE unit on each and every betting level, therefore the base unit of 5 could be increased and/or decreased not by 1 EVERY time like doing something mechanically and not conciousnesly.
You may think a lot of different variations on the above example and I think the best is not the same for everyone, that's why it's better for you to bring it to your own "comfort levels".
